Sorry for resenting fall

Okay, unpopular opinion time. I'm really not a big fall fan, but I know that it's everyone's fave, so I kinda just go along with it. Yesterday, I pulled out my sweaters and vests and cringed a little knowing that the cold weather is coming. And yes, I LOVE fall fashion, but I don't like having to wear it because it's chilly outside. I crave the sunshine and long days and sandals and shorts and never worrying about wearing a coat and I know those months are long and coming, so the feeling of the cold weather coming makes me cringe. Also, I look frumpy in sweaters. But that's whatevs.

So the morning started off just great when I woke up late, even though I set my alarm for an hour and a half earlier than normal to look over my notes for my test at 9.....yeah, I woke up even later than I normally do and got dressed faster than humanly possible, spitting toothpaste faster than a llama and putting on my crappiest pair of flip flops, simply because they were the closest ones. Shorts and a tee? No biggie on any other day... except when it happens to be the first day of it being 60 degrees and running across campus in this attire doesn't warm me up. No makeup, hair in a pony, and I'm out of the test by 10:15, dying to get back to my dorm to change into something warmer and less like I just rolled jumped out of bed (even though I did).

Still refusing to wear a sweater, vest, or boots, I put on a new Lilly top my mom brought me this weekend and a supa sweet pair of new Forever 21 jeans. But hey, don't knock 'em till you try 'em. Cheap and they fit, so I rolled with it. This shirt honestly made me just feel happy and the buttons are so pretty that I just fell in love and was instantly in a better mood. Sorry not sorry that clothes do that for me.

the buttons say Lilly on them! eeeeek!

Also, I'm really feeling the struggle of not having a camera here. My photos in the past have been on my mom's nice one, but of course, that's 8 hours away at home, so I'm resorting to my iPhone for everything. Ew. If anyone's reading this and happens to go to UR or live in RVA and wants to make the trip over here, I'd freak. (Not even kidding, hit me up.)

I mean, Rachel gets me.

My top and jeans were paired with no other than my cheetah flats, my go-to in everything, as well as a gold bangle, ring (Forever 21 again, holla), and tortoise watch.

Top: Lilly Pulitzer // Bracelet: Similar // Shoes: American Eagle

So, I guess today was a story day and an outfit. Sorry, I just like to talk a lot.
