This dress was a challenge I brought to myself. It's been hanging in my closet since junior year and I just never found the opportunity to wear it, but I packed it in the hopes that I would wear it. And then I dragged my brother a quarter of a mile of the walk to the beach to take photos and demanded him around (isn't that what little brothers are for?) to get photos.
I guess the reason I love this dress is because it was a vintage thrift find and it was too cute to not pass up at the time. Pair it with my grandmother's vintage rope earrings and set yourself up on the beach and you've got a nautical look! I really wish I knew where this dress was from, but I've never seen anything like it! It's a little bit of an awkward length, but I'm fine with that.
What sorts of things do you have in your closet that you never wear?

Meredith

That dress is so perfect! Anything nautical or with anchors on it is perfection. Plus I love the way you styled it. It's definitely a great thrift store find. Have a great weekend.
