I'm going to a very patriotic school

Aight, so in honor of the 4th of July being tomorrow, I'm sharing photos featuring some of my favorite colors... because Richmond and 'Merica go hand-in-hand, right?!

I'd love to be all blogger on you and have some fabulous outfits already planned and posted, but truth be told, I have no clue what I'm wearing and have so many outfits to plan. I'll probably talk about them after this weekend and it'll include a DIY project (oh goodie!), so stay tuned on the blog and on Instagram!

Regardless, here are some snapshots from my graduation party!

I was really proud of these cupcakes. I had seen all of these incredibly decorated cakes and wanted something similar, but we decided on making our own cupcakes like this, which turned out spectacular!

Sugar cookies with red sprinkles! Do you even understand how difficult it is to find navy sprinkles?! C'MON PEOPLE.

Is any party ever complete without Oreo Truffles?

And geek one time for horrible candid photos found on the camera?

Did Mom and I do too much for the Richmond colors? I mean, when the colors are navy and red, how can you not??

But I guess that does in fact make for a good 4th of July outfit- White eyelet top with a navy skirt... old pieces that I have no clue the brand of, but easy to find. Pair it with a red necklace or shoes and you're set!

Gosh dangit, Kirby, of course you're showing up matching again in navy and white

But seriously, I am trying to figure out what to wear Friday-Sunday ERGHHH so wish me luck! Because yes, this is the biggest stressor I have at the moment. I mean, hello, this is Independence Day!

What will you be wearing this weekend?

  1. I love this post. The cupcakes are so festive. I will be a senior in high school this upcoming fall and I might go back down to Richmond to see a football game. I can't wait to apply! You look gorgeous btw! My email is if you want to email. :)

  2. You're gorgeous. You're friends are gorgeous. I want to come to Kentucky/Richmond and hang out with you

Well thank ya for wanting to leave a comment! I love reading what you think! xoxo
