Sometimes I'm so grateful for blogging because it has the capability to document my life so wonderfully!

It's been kind of a weird week with lots happening... honestly, I couldn't tell you the things I wore or what I did or anything, which is abnormal. But, I was thinking about how much reflecting that seems to have happened. The fact that it's now February of my senior year of high school is absolutely surreal. I had the opportunity to see all of my middle school teachers and lots of people I've known for so long the other day, which reminded me of how much has happened since I was a nervous 8th grader going into middle school and makes me nervous for going into college this year. I don't know where I'm going to school, but I just know that there's lots in store for me wherever I go!

It all seems real that I'm actually going to be leaving high school and starting a new chapter in my life. I'll be honest, school at this point just seems so 'ehhh'; it's just being stuck between being all into high school and trying to prepare for potential big decisions of where I'll be living for the next four years!

And I'll probably post about this a lot, but I forget that I'm not going to be living in Kentucky anymore. I love all the beautiful parts of Kentucky and everything that's a part of it... I mean, I know that there are so many places I can't even imagine falling in love with, but Kentucky is my home. Leaving home is never easy.

All of the things that have happened have reminded me of the sweet blessings I've been granted and the wonderful people I have and the great God who loves me so much.

As for everything else.....

Yes, I know that I totally missed the opportunity to blog about my favorites in the Lilly spring collection, but goodness gracious, LET ME TELL YOU that they are too cute. Like this is going to be a line that people will have forever and ever and will create classic pieces. I am obsesssssssed with it! The new prints give me goosebumps, can I please have all of it?!

My thoughts on Valentine's Day: Who really cares? I see more people complaining about it than actually celebrating it and it bothers me that people get so worked up over it..... it is literally just a day. BUT that doesn't mean that it's fun to bake a ton of food--

I love finding the most adorable recipes on Pinterest and pinning them to my holidays board! Can't wait to show y'all what I make!

Speaking of which, I was reminded of one of my FAVORITE recipes that my mom uses all the time-- plain ol' chocolate chip cookies. I could inhale these at any given moment.

Oh.......and the Super Bowl is today. Usually I'm on top of things like this, but I totally forgot about it. Just another day to sit on Twitter, crack up at people making relevant tweets that I really don't understand, and eat some good food. The food is the only thing I care about GO FOOTBALL!

I'm so thankful that I kept up with one of my resolutions to blog more frequently-- I posted on 28 out of 31 days in January!

And if you missed them, here are my posts from last week:

The things I know right now: I need to get a hair cut desperately, create a better workout schedule, read more books, wash my load of whites, and figure out what the heck I'm going to do in these months before I graduate.
