a burst of insanity

Breaking: I HAVE INTERNET!

It was a rough 36 hours without it, but I think I'm going to be fine. Except when I got on Bloglovin', I had 93 unread blogs. I don't know about you, but that's A LOT of unread blogs. How's a millennial supposed to live?! (Just kidding. I'm not that high maintenance.)

But this week was a super fast, yet super long one. After such a long weekend, I thought it was going to be painfully slow, but it wasn't too bad, just incredibly busy.

Wednesday was a fun day at Awesome Inc, where we had the 5Across finals. 5Across is an event where five entrepreneurs pitch ideas and have the chance to win money. It was the last one of the year where all the winners from the past ones in 2013 came again to have a chance at winning even more money! Seriously, I'm inspired by these cool people all the time. It was lots of fun!

The rest of the week and the days before Wednesday were kind of just a blur in that there was lots going on and it was a mix of sleep and work and running errands.

But yesterday was an especially weird day because of all this winter storm craziness. During school, it was raining and pretty cold, but not cold enough for it to be freezing rain and get us out of school early. Then, last night, it got colder and everything started to ice over, and then it started to snow. Sorry for being all crazy about winter storms, I just think they're fascinating (sorry not sorry).

And, guys, I'm sorry my posts this week haven't been up to par. Senior year has these bursts of insanity and bursts of doing nothing, but this has been an insanity burst. And so will the next week, because it's FINALS. Woo-hoo. I hope to have some good posts up soon! Cause seriously, I never blogged about these ah-mazing fudge brownies. And I've been crazy busy with making shirts, which BY THE WAY: I'm working on revamping my whole site. Perhaps the layout, but definitely my Etsy shop/may be making a new shop. I don't know. I'm still trying to figure it out while maintaining school and whatnot. So if you're here going, ugh, this is so confusing, I'm sorry, it's going to be fixed soon! I just never realized how big all of this was going to get.

In the meantime, please appreciate these beautiful drawings that my friend, Will Freeman, made for me. Ya know, sometimes class just gets boring and what starts out as a cyclops turns into abstract art decorated as Monogram Meredith. We had lots of fun with this and he urged me to put this on here. So here you go, a (maybe) realistic drawing of me.

(And yeah, he's totally joking with the cliche quotes. But notice the 'Bean' written on the boots? That's detail, my friends.)

Hope you have a happy (and warm!) Saturday,
Meredith
