stuffed full of food and love

What a super sweet day yesterday was, and oh, how I'm so blessed! Blessed to be full of food and love. I spent the day at my sweet grandparents' house and had so much fun.

{First, there's the clothes.}

Shelby loves the candid shots, and I'm actually pretty loving this photo.

But for this one....

...probably going to send this one in to Blogger Bloopers, the Tumblr where bloggers have been sending in their super awkward/candid photos! It is honestly one of the funniest things I've seen. I sent in one that I've loved for a while, you can see it here.

And alright, alright, before you call me an 'outfit repeater'-

 I know that I've posted this shirt and (obviously) these boots before. BUT I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THEM. So comfy and cute. And I really wore this so I could wear my new earrings.

EIFLFLJDLWSLJFJFJ I love them. They're the Lilly Pulitzer Bow Tie earrings that my sweet friend, Victoria, got me for my birthday.

Shirt: J. Crew | Skirt: Old Navy | Earrings: Lilly Pulitzer

{And a fashion-forward sister.}

"Mere, will you put this on your blog? I'm rocking a new necklace, brought to you by alphabet blocks!"

{Then there's the food.}

Holy moly, there was so much good food!

Look, I'm a vegetarian, but for some reason, people think that a) my family doesn't eat meat either or b) I cry every time I see meat because I miss it so much. HAHA neither of those happen.

I'm pretty sure I learned my obsession of taking pictures from my grandfather.

Even though they were trying to get out of the photo, I'm so happy they're in it. My mother and grandmother prepared so much beautiful food and of course, are too humble to take recognition for it.

And here's my beautiful, meat-free Thanksgiving day plate (fun fact: you don't have to eat turkey to have a good Thanksgiving), full of pretzel salad, rolls, macaroni & cheese, hashbrown casserole, and a little bit of stuffing.

All of the sudden, my dad's become very interested in my blogging. So thanks for this picture that you spread all over social media, Dad.

Towards the end of our meal, when I realized that my brother had been up from the table for a while, I saw him like this. Always so sneaky.

{And then the desserts.}

Yesterday was also my grandmother's birthday, so we just piled on the sweetness!

Goodness, I made these brownie creations that ended up more like fudge. I could seriously eat only one because they were soooo rich. Recipe coming soon!

Mom made some cute mini key lime pies!

(Hah, mirror pic?)

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and is having a great Friday, whether or not you're going crazy with the sales.

love y'all,
